Our help is in the name of the Lord , who made heaven and earth.
It seems that every nation of people has some desire to worship something or someone outside of themselves.
We look at the ruins of past civilizations and they all have the concept of worship
In the days of the Israelites, the people around them worshipped objects. They made images to reflect these 'gods' and so the distinction was always made. There is the one CREATOR God who must be worshiped.
We pray to the Creator God; we praise the Creator God; we call on the name of the Creator God; we worship the Creator God.
