I will greatly rejoice in the Lord , my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels.
The most pleasing relationship that we can have is a relationship with GOD. Not a god of our imagination but the real, true, awesome, Most High GOD.
He is the God who knows everything about our lives. Every mistake we have made, every sin we have committed, every shame and guilt we carry, every unkind thought, every selfish motive, everything about us - the good, the bad and the ugly.
He is also the God who clothes us with the garments of salvation and the robe of righteousness. It doesn't matter what our past was like, he is only concerned about our future. A future that he has prepared for us.
May we have a vibrant, joyful relationship with our awesome GOD.
