For a good tree bringeth not forth corrupt fruit; neither doth a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
The law of nature shows that a tree that is healthy, watered and well-nourished will bear good, sweet and delicious fruit. There is a direct correlation between a healthy tree and good fruit. When we see good fruit we know that they came from a good tree.
When we see fruit that is not good we know the tree is corrupt.
As an analogy to our lives we can also safely say that when we see good deeds from each other it is because our hearts are motivated by being attached to our loving Lord.
When we see evil deeds we know that we are not in step with our Lord.
May the fruit of our lives be good and not corrupt.
