I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine.
As God's children we have been blessed with a good Shepherd. The good Shepherd leads his sheep to good pasture. He ensures that all the needs of the sheep are met. He leads the sheep besides calm, running water to quench their thirst.
The good Shepherd protects his sheep from danger. There is no enemy he will not defend his sheep against? The good Shepherd will be with his sheep no matter how dangerous the path they must take.
The good Shepherd brings goodness and mercy to his sheep. He only gives good gifts to them.
May we always be thankful for our good Shepherd, Jesus Christ, our Lord.
