And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
A short verse of Scripture but its impact is vast. There are certain key words in this verse.
Know - Having intimate knowledge of; not merely an acquaintance
Truth - Absolute fact; no error
Free - Not in bondage or slavery.
Pilate asked at Jesus trial, 'what is truth?'
Jesus told his disciples a few hours before, '...I am the truth...'
Where do we go to find truth? How do we know it is true?
May seeking truth be our lifetime pursuit so that we may continue to live in freedom.
