Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.
As believers we have to be very careful because lies may take many different shapes and forms. We have to be careful about what we hear from those around us but we also need to be really cognizant of the voices that echo in our minds. Voices that are not from the Spirit of truth.
Lies will keep us trap in situations that we may not even be aware of. Only truth can set us free.
May we steer clear from the father of lies and only seek to know the truth.
