“You call me ‘Teacher’ and ‘Lord,’ and rightly so, for that is what I am. Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another’s feet.
It is a wonderful privilege to have a 'Teacher' worthy of honor. We know as believers there is only one role model who will always be the perfect portrayal of who we should be.
Today, many people look up to mortal men and women as role models and become very disappointed when their role models show that they are only humans with faults like everyone else.
Our perfect Teacher and Lord left us a blueprint of how we should live our lives and if we call him 'Teacher and Lord' it would be great if we follow his example.
