My heart says of you, “Seek his face!” Your face, Lord , I will seek.
There is a longing in the heart of every human to be connected to the source of life. It always amazes me to see how a tiny newborn baby will cling to life. Once life is within our grasp we will not let it go.
When we listen to the cry of our heart it takes us back to our creator. He may be hidden from our physical eyes but he is everywhere; we can feel his presence all around us and for the child of God, he lives in us.
Sometimes life is not going the way we want it to and we fall into despair. Our hearts long for something or someone to make it better. This is when we must listen and seek the 'face of the Lord'. A personal God whom we can relate to in a personal way. Not just a force but a God with a face.
May we pause for a moment and seek God's face today.
