PAUSE FOR A MOMENT - February 9

Ephesians 5:27
And to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless.

The Apostle Paul wrote that the church can be compared to the bride of Christ and in this analogy he showed love for his bride by giving his life for her to make her holy, washed and clean through his word.

He continued by saying that he made her a radiant church. His bride is without stain, wrinkle or any blemish. This cleansing was not done by the bride but by Christ. He made himself responsible to keep his bride holy and blameless.

As believers, you and I make up the church. We are like the bride of Christ. We will be presented to him as his radiant bride, holy and blameless in his sight.
