The Lord is my light and my salvation— whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life— of whom shall I be afraid?
Familiarity with the words of this Scripture can somehow lessen the impact and importance of these words. But the truth is - there really is no need for fear when our faith and trust is in the LORD.
When we know without a shadow of a doubt that our times and lives are in God's hands, no matter what happens to us, we know that everything will turn out as God intends. We do not have to fear when we trust in GOD.
Fear is banished in the light of God's salvation. The perfect love of God casts out every fear. We sometimes fear death because it is an unknown experience but because we put our trust in the Author of Life we know that death is only the passageway to life.
