You will again have compassion on us; you will tread our sins underfoot and hurl all our iniquities into the depths of the sea.
The God we serve shows his eternal love and compassion for his children as we see in this proclamation of the prophet telling us what God is going to do with the sins and iniquities of his people.
He is willing to save to the uttermost those who go to him for salvation. He promised to cast our sins away from us as far as the east is from the west.
He will hurl our iniquities into the depths of the sea and there are deep immeasurable gullies beyond the ocean floor. If our sins are hurled into such depths they are removed from us forever.
May we always be thankful for the forgiveness, love and compassion of our God.
