Whoever give heed to instructions prospers, and blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord.
If you are like most of us, instructions are optional. 'When all else fails read the instructions' is how we deal with most things. Somehow we feel like we already know how to do it, why waste precious time reading the manual.
There is a reason instructions are given by the designer. He or she knows best how the product was designed and how it is supposed to work. When we follow the instructions it will be to our benefit as we get to have a product working exactly the way it was designed.
Our lives work the same way. We have a book of instructions, called the Bible, that will allow us to have peace, joy, love, patience, goodness, gentleness, self-control, faith, kindness and everything else we need to live fulfilling lives. We just have to read, follow the instructions and trust in the Lord.
