Listen, I tell you a mystery: we will not all sleep, but we will all be changed.
Here is a verse that contains an absolute statement: WE WILL ALL BE CHANGED. We will not all die physically but we will all be changed. Our bodies will be changed from this weak, mortal, sinful body to a perfect, immortal, righteous body.
As long as we are living in our physical body here on this earth we will never achieve spiritual perfection. We have to fight our human nature constantly as the war within continues. The things we do not want to do supersede the things we want to do.
By the grace of God we will win the war one day. Our change will come and our battles will be over. If we die before the return of our conquering King he will reunite our souls with our perfect bodies but if we are still alive we will be changed into our perfect bodies instantly.
What a glorious future awaits us!
