For I am like an olive tree flourishing in the house of God; I trust in God's unfailing love for ever and ever.
The Psalmist also wrote, 'Oh taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the man who trust in him.' When I look at my personal relationship with God I sometimes ask the question, 'do I know deep in my soul and in my heart that God is truly good?'
Growing up in a religious environment we sometimes tend to take these words for granted because we hear them all the time and it is always a good practice to examine our relationship with God.
Is it a secure, loving, trusting relationship?
When life gets a little rough do I know that I am sustained by God?
When my life on earth is over do I know for sure that I will meet a loving Father who is waiting to welcome me home?
Let us taste and see that the Lord is truly good and that His love never fails.
