Romans 8:24-25
For in this hope we were saved. But hope that is seen is no hope at all. Who hopes for what they already have? But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently.
What's in a name? I can only imagine the despair and agony that caused this mother to name her baby, 'Little Hope'. But then again, perspective is everything. Her name was not 'No Hope' but 'Little Hope'. The truth is: the size of your hope really doesn't matter. As long as you have HOPE you will have a reason to go on.
The Apostle Paul is telling the believers in Rome that as creation groans for perfection there is hope that the change will come. As they hope for a perfect body they had to be patient waiting for it.
Hope is seen in the promise of the rainbow. The storm may be fierce, the rain may seem unending but when the rainbow appears we know that the worse is over. Heaven touches earth and gives us hope.
