Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.
This is the best motivation to get through those rather challenging tasks made even more so because of dealing with difficult people in our lives.
There are many situations from which we would like to walk away but when we remember that it is Christ we are serving our attitude changes.
If we do everything with a grateful heart, a positive mental attitude and an optimistic point of view, we find that it is easier to get through each day.
There are lessons to be learned from all our experiences preparing us for bigger tasks. Let us not waste our valuable time lamenting and complaining. The reward that is coming our way for a job well done will be worth more than we can even imagine.
