Because of the Lord's great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.
What wondrous words on which to meditate each morning! 'The Lord's compassions never fail.' We can go to the throne of grace every day and know that there is nothing that can separate us from his great love.
We may be lured into tempatations; proved unfaithful; failed to exhibit the fruit of the Spirit in our lives and may even forget that we are citizens of God's kingdom. But God never forgets who we are. His faithfulness is great. His forgiveness flows from his unending streams of mercy for his children.
The Apostle Paul asked in Romans 8:35 'Who can separate us from the love of Christ? The answer is NOTHING. There is nothing past, present or future that will ever change the heart of God towards his children.
