Then Job replied to the Lord : “I know that you can do all things; no purpose of yours can be thwarted. Job 42:1-2
Citizens of the New Kingdom are privileged people who have the unique opportunity to be in a personal relationship with the Almighty God of the universe. The story of Job shows clearly the loving relationship between the Sovereign King and his servant Job. Job could not see all that was happening behind the scenes and he had his own perspectives, influenced by his beliefs and the beliefs his friends, but when it became clear that he was wrong to question God's purpose and sovereignty - Job repented and God blessed him abundantly.
Citizens of the New Kingdom are encouraged to be humble before the King and acknowledge the words of Job, 'I know that you can do all things; no purpose of yours can be thwarted.' Do not allow the doubts of others to cause you to question God's goodness and purpose for your life.
