Therefore, I tell you, her many sins have been forgiven—as her great love has shown. But whoever has been forgiven little loves little.” Luke 7:47
Citizens of the New Kingdom know that we have been forgiven much. When we take time to reflect on the holiness of God we see how undeserving we really are of our King's love and forgiveness.
Citizens of the New Kingdom know that even if they were born into the New Kingdom when they were children it does not mean that they were forgiven little. The Psalmist David wrote, 'Surely I was sinful at birth, sinful from the time my mother conceived me.' Psalm 51:5. God's wrath was what we truly deserved; rejection and destruction by a holy righteous God would be fair. Our King chose to love us instead and forgave all our sins - past, present and future. We are all forgiven much indeed!
