Citizens Of The New Kingdom - June 30

 “Therefore since we are God’s offspring, we should not think that the divine being is like gold or silver or stone—an image made by human design and skill. Acts 17:29

Citizens of the New Kingdom accept that we are created by God and we exist by his design and purpose. Since we are created - our Creator is greater than us. Therefore we cannot equate him to something less than us. We cannot make him into images of our own human design and skill. How can the Creator,  the source of life be a lifeless image made from gold, silver or stone?

Citizens of the New Kingdom seeks to worship the one true Creator God. He deserves all our worship and praise because he is a divine being. Only divinity should be worship. Lifeless images cannot respond to worship. Let us seek to worship our one true Creator and King today.

Citizens Of The New Kingdom - June 29

 ‘For in him we live and move and have our being.’ As some of your own poets have said, ‘We are his offspring.’ Acts 17:28

Citizens of this world may not want to accept the truth about the Creator.  They claim to be atheists, agnostics, pagans, etc. but nothing can change absolute truth.
Truth is not what I want to believe.
Truth is not relative.
No matter how much I may deny it, truth remains.
King Jesus declared, 'I am the way, the truth and the life'.
All created beings have a Creator and we are sustained by our Creator God.

Citizens Of The New Kingdom - June 28

God did this (Acts17:26) so that they would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from any one of us. Acts 17:27

Citizens of the New Kingdom know that every person born into this world do not have the proper equipment to communicate with God. We are dead in our sins and we need to reach out to our Creator as soon as we realize that we are dead and want to be alive.

King Jesus is very near to us and he is doing everything to get our attention. He is able to give us abundant life if we would just reach out to him.

Citizens of the New Kingdom must continue to do all we can to show citizens of the world that they need to become citizens of the New Kingdom and accept Jesus as their King. Their actions continually show that they are still dead in their sins.

All creation and everything that God has done have one purpose - bringing man back to God.

Citizens Of The New Kingdom - June 27

 From one man he made all the nations, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and he marked out their appointed times in history and the boundaries of their lands. Acts 17:26

Citizens of the New Kingdom know that humankind was created by our Sovereign Creator and our forefathers were given the task of inhabiting the whole earth. There may be many nations but there is only one race on this earth - the human race.

The Creator determines the rise and fall of nations and where he wanted them to live. In his sovereignty he set up their boundaries and their borders.

Citizens of the New Kingdom cannot believe in all the theories of evolution when they read verses like these from the Word of God. These verses show clearly that God is in control.

Our Creator God knows the beginning and the end of each person and he determines our destiny. We may dodge our fate by our choices but we cannot escape our destiny. Citizens of the New Kingdom are destined to be Children of God.

Citizens Of The New Kingdom - June 26

And he is not served by human hands, as if he needed anything. Rather, he himself gives everyone life and breath and everything else. Acts 17:25

Citizens of the New Kingdom serve the God who created the entire universe. He is the God who gives life, breath and everything else. Our God does not need anything from his creation.
God is the source of life!
God is whole and independent!
God has the master plan for his creation in its entirety but he also has a plan and purpose for every single thing he created. Nothing happens arbitrarily and without his knowledge.

Citizens of the New Kingdom can rest secure in the love of the Creator because he chose to make us the objects of his affection and he is powerful enough to fulfill his purpose in us.

Citizens Of The New Kingdom - June 25

The God who made the world and everything in it is the Lord of heaven and earth and does not live in temples built by human hands. Acts 17:24

Citizens of the New Kingdom have a great privilege! We are children of God! The God who made all things! The God who made the world and everything in it.

Citizens of the New Kingdom are the children of the Lord of heaven and earth. There is no one above him in heaven or on earth and he chose us to be his children.

Citizens of the New Kingdom will always be grateful to King Jesus for making it possible for us to become children of God and citizens of the New Kingdom.

Citizens Of The New Kingdom - June 24

 This is what the Sovereign Lord , the Holy One of Israel, says: “In repentance and rest is your salvation, in quietness and trust is your strength, but you would have none of it. Isaiah 30:15

Citizens of the New Kingdom are encouraged to seek their King's solution to the turmoil in our lives. When we are needing salvation we are reminded that repentance and rest is where we begin. As we accept the fact that we have messed up and we repent instead of blaming our circumstances or others we will actually be rescued from our stressful situations.

Citizens of the New Kingdom may feel weak and be afraid of failing. The King's solution is quietness and trust. When we are quiet before our King and trust that his way is always best we will find strength.

Repentance,  Rest,  Quietness, Trust. Try the King's solution today.

Citizens Of The New Kingdom - June 23

Therefore be imitators of God as dear children, and walk in love as Christ also has loved us and gives himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet smelling aroma. Ephesians 5:1-2

Citizens of the New Kingdom have a shield of love encompassing them as they walk through this dark world.

The love sacrifice that King Jesus made for his citizens allows us to live in the presence of God as sweet smelling fragrance. How wonderful the love that the Father and King Jesus have for us!

Citizens of the New Kingdom gladly seek to imitate their King by showing love for each other.

Citizens Of The New Kingdom - June 22

Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you. Ephesians 4:32

Citizens of the New Kingdom are known by their love for King Jesus and for each other.

Citizens of the New Kingdom are kind and compassionate to hurting people by encouraging them with thoughtful words and deeds.

Citizens of the New Kingdom forgive each other with or without an apology as they follow the example of their King.

Citizens Of The New Kingdom - June 21

...The Spirit you received brought about your adoption to Sonship and by him we cry Abba Father. Romans 8:15

Citizens of the New Kingdom have been adopted into the family of God and have been granted all the rights of sons and daughters. We can call God our Father and we can also call him by the intimate term 'Abba', which would be equivalent to Daddy or Papa.

Citizens of the New Kingdom have the wonderful privilege of being on intimate terms with the Creator of all things. He is approachable to all his children and he enjoys and seeks a relationship with us.

Citizens of the New Kingdom are always welcomed into his presence. Our Abba loves us and wants us to consider him not only as a Father who deserves our complete respect and worship but also as a daddy who enjoys 'hugs' from his beloved children too.

Citizens Of The New Kingdom - June 20

'On the day when I act', says the Lord Almighty, 'they will be my treasured possession. I will spare them, just as a father has compassion and spares his son who serves him'. Malachi 3:17

Citizens of the New Kingdom believe the proclamation and promises of the Lord Almighty. We are his treasured possession.

Citizens of the New Kingdom know that they will be spared from the destruction of this world.

Citizens of the New Kingdom have a compassionate Father who will always protect his citizens. King Jesus loves us as a Father loves his children.

Citizens of the New Kingdom are so loved by the King that he did not hesitate to give up everything to rescue his treasured possession. You and I are priceless treasures to our King.

Citizens Of The New Kingdom - June 19

In the past God spoke to our ancestors through the prophets at many times and in various ways, but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom he also made the universe.  Hebrews 1:1-2

King Jesus is the only way to eternal life, the truth of everything there is and the source of all creation. God speaks to us today through his Son who is the King of kings and Lord of lords.

King Jesus loves each and everyone of his citizens and he speaks to each of us individually. He knows what is happening in each of our lives even when we don't understand the circumstances that are beyond explanation.

King Jesus shows us how to live in this present world and he prepares us for the world that is to come.

Citizens Of The New Kingdom - June 18

Jesus replied, 'what is impossible with man is possible with God' Luke 18:27

Citizens of the New Kingdom face many seemingly impossible situations as they live in this world. Sometimes there seems no way out and no answers to the problems that come at us from all angles.

This proclamation of King Jesus holds true because the word 'impossible' will never be found in the realm of God. He has thousands of ways to answer every prayer we have and he always chooses the very best answer - the answer that allows HIS will to be done on earth as it is done in heaven.

Citizens Of The New Kingdom - June 17

So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen; since what is seen is temporary but what is unseen is eternal. 2 Corinthians 4:18

Citizens of the New Kingdom are encouraged to look beyond the present, what is seen to what is unseen, the eternal.

Citizens of the New Kingdom have been given the gift of faith which allows us to go beyond what the physical eyes can see to what is hidden. The unseen becomes real in the eyes of faith.

King Jesus,  the Holy Spirit, the Father, angels, heaven, eternal life are all unseen to our physical eyes but Citizens of the New Kingdom know that they are real and our eyes and hearts look forward to eternity.

Citizens Of The New Kingdom - June 16

For the Lord is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations. Psalm 100:5

Citizens of the New Kingdom have nothing to fear because our King's goodness and love will last forever. We are protected, safe and secure because we are loved by our King and nothing will ever change his love for his children.

Citizens of the New Kingdom know that King Jesus is faithful to keep his promises throughout all generations. His grace, mercy, forgiveness, love, compassion are available at all times to his children.

The Lord is good and his love endures forever!

Citizens Of The New Kingdom - June 15

Enter into his gates with thanksgiving and into his courts with praise. Give thanks to him and praise his name. Psalm 100:4

Thanksgiving is in the hearts of citizens of the New Kingdom. We are in God's presence and our praise rise continuously as we worship King Jesus.

Citizens of the New Kingdom give thanks to their King for all that he has done for us.

Joy and thanksgiving reside in the hearts of King Jesus' citizens. How thankful and joyful are you today?

Citizens Of The New Kingdom - June 14

Know that the Lord is God. It is he who made us, and we are his people and the sheep of his pasture. Psalm 100:3

Citizens of the New Kingdom know that King Jesus is Lord and God.

Citizens of the New Kingdom know that they did not evolved. We are created and designed in the image of God for the purpose of enjoying life to its fullest and bringing pleasure to our Creator as we fulfill our purpose.

Citizens of the New Kingdom are the people of God and our King protects us as a shepherd protects his sheep.

Citizens Of The New Kingdom - June 13

Shout for joy, all the earth, worship the Lord with gladness. Come before him with joyful songs. Psalm 100:1-2

Citizens of the New Kingdom have hearts shouting with joy as they think about their Lord and King.

Citizens of the New Kingdom cannot remain silent as they meditate on the goodness of the Lord. We shout for joy no matter the circumstances.

Citizens of the New Kingdom worship the King with gladness and joyful songs.

Shout for joy! Worship the Lord with gladness! Go before him with joyful songs!

Citizens Of The New Kingdom - June 12

I led them with cords of human kindness, with ties of love, to them I was like one who lifts a little child to the cheek and I bent down to feed them. Hosea 11:4

Citizens of the New Kingdom have a King who loves them, cares for them and is compassionate towards his citizens.

Citizens of the New Kingdom are protected by their King and he does everything to show his passion and compassion for us.

Listen to the words of King Jesus - I lead you with cords of human kindness, with ties of love, I take you in my arms, lift you up to my cheek and I feed you. Isn't it wonderful to be so loved!

Citizens Of The New Kingdom - June 11

Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. 2 Corinthians 3:17

Citizens of the New Kingdom are alive and free because of the Spirit of the Lord. Free from the powers of darkness in this world. Satan and his evil forces must get permission from our King to even approach us.

Citizens of the New Kingdom are free from the judgment of the law. The law has no power over us because we are children of the King who already paid the penalty that comes from breaking the law, freeing us from its consequences of condemnation.

Citizens of the New Kingdom are free to enjoy fellowship with the King of kings and his eternal love forevermore.

Citizens Of The New Kingdom - June 10

But it is good for me to draw near to God: I have put my trust in the Lord God, that I may declare all his works.  Psalm 73:28

This is the prayer of every citizen of the New Kingdom. It is good for us to draw near to God.

When we draw near to God we are guided by his counsel.

When we draw near to God we delight in his word.

When we draw near to God he lifts us up in our discouragement.

When we draw near to God and put our trust in Him he gives us courage to boldly declare all his works.

Citizens Of The New Kingdom - June 9

Thou shall guide me with thy counsel,  and afterward receive me in glory. Psalm 73:24

Citizens of the New Kingdom are in a win - win situation here in this world. We have the Holy Spirit as our Counselor - guiding, teaching, encouraging, supporting, loving us as we live this present world. King Jesus, before he said goodbye to his disciples, told them that the Holy Spirit would bring to their remembrance everything he taught them - his words and his example of love to those who needed it most.

Citizens of the New Kingdom know that when they leave this world they will be in the glorious presence of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit forever sanctified and made holy by the blood of King Jesus.

Citizens Of The New Kingdom - June 8

Fret not thyself because of evildoers, neither be thou envious against the workers of iniquity. Psalm 37:1

Sometimes citizens of the New Kingdom may get discouraged when they see evil prospering and evildoers multiplying their wealth and influence. Citizens of the New Kingdom may get a little envious when the good things they want to do are not happening but evil agendas are pushed forward.

King Jesus asks us to look at how it's all going to end and not to focus on our current situations. We always need to remember that he is in control. He has never relinquished his control and his children have nothing to worry or fret about. He was victorious over this world and we will be too.

Citizens Of The New Kingdom - June 7

The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. 2 Corinthians 4 : 4

Citizens of this world have been blinded by the god of this age to the light of the gospel. Unless the scales fall from their eyes they will not be able to see the glorious truth of the gospel which is summed up in one word-LOVE.

Citizens of the New Kingdom are not blinded to the glory of the gospel. They have accepted the love found in God and demonstrated in King Jesus' sacrifice on Calvary.

Citizens of the New Kingdom must be careful not to prolong the blindness of unbelievers by showing them hatred and rejection instead of love.

Citizens Of The New Kingdom - June 6

He (the Father) causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. Matthew 5:45

Citizens of the New Kingdom seek to follow the Father in dealing with Citizens of the world. The Father does not withhold the necessities of life from those who hate him. He sends the sun and the rain on the earth and all benefit, even those who do not believe in him.

Citizens of the New Kingdom must show kindness to those who treat them with hatred and contempt and those who do not agree with them.

Citizens of the New Kingdom seek to follow the example of King Jesus which is LOVE.

Citizens Of The New Kingdom - June 5

The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands. Psalm 19:1

The earth, the sky and every aspect of nature show the presence of a CREATOR. We live in the environment of God.

Citizens of the world experience the love and care of a Creator even when they do not acknowledge him.

Citizens of the New Kingdom seek to always praise and honor their Creator because they can see the work of his hand and they experience his loving protection every day.

Citizens Of The New Kingdom - June 4

Jesus said, 'Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the Kingdom of heaven belongs to such of these. Matthew 19:14

Citizens of the New Kingdom must be born into the kingdom by the Spirit of Life. There is a spiritual process to maturity. ..Birth - Childhood - Adulthood

Citizens of the New Kingdom do not immediately upon birth know everything,  we have to be taught, we have to be trained, we will fall, we will want to give up but we continue to grow.

Being like a child is a necessity for Citizens of the New Kingdom. We are learning,  we are listening,  we are being disciplined as we become mature.

Citizens Of The New Kingdom - June 3

For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sake he became poor,  so that you might through his poverty become rich. 2 Corinthians 8:9

Citizens of the New Kingdom have a King who does not ask anything from them that he was not willing to do himself. He willingly gave up his status in heaven, his glory with the Father to become of servant of men in this dark world. He willingly submitted to death so that we can have eternal life as we become reconciled to God.

When citizens of the New Kingdom give up earthly possessions and desires for the Kingdom of God, we are only in a very small way following the example of our King who gave up everything for us.

Citizens Of The New Kingdom -June 2

'Truly I tell you', Jesus said to them, 'No one who has left home or wife or brothers or sisters or parents or children for the sake of the kingdom of God will fail to receive many times as much in this age, and in the age to come eternal life'. Luke 18:29-30

When citizens of the New Kingdom are asked to give up earthly ties and possessions for the Kingdom of God, they are promised blessings in this life, rewards, repayments... and when life on earth is over, they have eternal life awaiting them. Always a winning proposition from our King.

Citizens of the New Kingdom do not ever lose when they choose to obey their King because he sees the whole picture and he has so much more in store for us.

Citizens Of The New Kingdom - June 1

Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me. Mark 8:34

When we become Citizens of the New Kingdom, the King's business become our business. Whatever the King asks of us is what we seek to do.

Since Citizens of the New Kingdom have eternity in their view, denying themselves does not seem like a daunting task. Taking up the cross daily and following Jesus is a joy knowing that one day we will be forever in the Presence of our King and we know that the greatest treasures of earth are garbage compared to our heavenly rewards.
