He grew up before him like a tender shoot, and like a root out of dry ground. He had no beauty or majesty to attract us to him, nothing in his appearance that we should desire him. Isaiah 53:2
King Jesus gave up the splendor of his glory to become man. He humbled himself and became a servant. He did this so there would be no reason for man to be attracted to him for his outward appearance.
Whenever King Jesus would allow his glory to be seen men always responded with worship. The demons responded with fear.
King Jesus emptied himself of the glory of his divinity so that he could be the perfect sacrifice for mankind.
